Rockers Vs. Mods - Dallas
Turns out that, the same weekend (March 3-4) as the Sandblast Rally in Galveston, there is a vintage Euro bike and scooter rally in Dallas. Though there aren't much details on the event's MySpace page, what is clear is this event is not intended for plastic shell (and presumably more modern metal) scoots. Truth be told, I can't even figure out how much this costs, what that includes, where the meetup is, or what activities take place during the weekend.

Hey Guys, sorry about the lack of info for last year. We put this together rather quickly. We do welcome the Houstons MODS and ROCKERS to join us for the 2008 event.
The details on this will be more layed out. We have a website that is dedicated to the event and will have all the information you will need!...
We are doing some major planning on this event and should be pretty happening.
The event for 2008 will be held on March 21, through the 23rd.
Saturday's event - We are blocking off a section of the street in Deep Ellum. We will have beer stands, stages for MOD & ROCKER Bands. We have a great yet affordable hotel for all of you guys coming from out of town. You guys will love the Hotel, you can look it up on line, look under (The Belmont Hotel). We will have point routes for our rides and will have professional photo's taken. There will be a bike contest for best vintage, rat bikes, Scooters, and dress atire.
Sunday will be the Dubliner like last years event.
We had a total of 300 bikes and Scooters our first City of Hate Rockers VS. MODS rally. There were some really neat bikes and scoots.
If you would like to be apart of this event, or would like to be a sposor please talk to either me (Cameron/MUDI) or (Mark) at (www.rockersvsmods.com. We will be happy to answer any questions or concerns. We have email everyone outside of Dallas to make sure no one was holding another rally so we are in the clear and own that date.
