August Battalion Ride

It's going to be a swim ride! We're going to cruise to a Houston public pool for a cooling dip. Wear your swimsuit, wear it under your street clothes, or change into it at the pool. If you don't want to swim, chill in the shade and watch. We'll be at the pool about an hour, then head back to Beer Island for burgers and beer.

Get some BBQ this sunday!

Along with the Classic Scooter Roundup this Sunday at the West Alabama Ice House, there will be BBQ for sale, to benefit Terri Myers, who was hit by a hit and run driver. The proceeds will help her pay hospital bills. Come on out and join us, even if you don't have a classic!

Classic Scooter Roundup #2

Join us for the second of this quarterly rally. This time, instead of just meeting at West Alabama, we'll meet at "The Usual Pub", and scoot to West Alabama as a group. Meet at 2:00PM, July 19. See you there!

Amerivespa 2010 will be in San Antonio!

We just got word from Dawn of the San Antonio Neer-do-Wells SC, and it's official. Amerivespa 2010 will be Memorial weekend, May 27 - 31 in San Antonio! This is a huge rally, and it's not limited to Vespas. Of course, we want to have a strong Houston Scooter Battalion presence, so mark your calendars and save the date! Details regarding registration, lodging, schedule, etc will come later. I'll post as soon as I know. Great news!
